OVERVIEW

Rail Slingshot ("we", "us", or "the app") is a native mobile game published by Johan Andersson and distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

We do not operate user accounts and we do not store your game progress on our servers. All gameplay data stays on your device unless you choose to share something through your device's built-in share feature.

No account or sign-in is required to play.

WHAT DATA WE STORE LOCALLY

The following information is stored on your device only. We do not transmit it to our servers:

• Game progress — High scores (including endless mode), current level, coins, unlocked vehicles, vehicle condition, upgrades, shop progress, daily login rewards, play-time bonuses, and optional ad coin bonus counts.

• App settings — Preferences such as sound on/off and whether the tutorial has been completed.

• Ad frequency preferences — Local counters that limit how often full-screen ads may appear (for example, after several completed runs). This is stored on your device only and is not sent to our servers.

We do not offer cloud save, account sync, or backup of your game progress. If you uninstall the app or delete your data, your progress is lost.

DATA RETENTION

Local data remains on your device until you delete it using the Settings page, or until you uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored game data from your device.

SHARE SCORE

If you choose to share your score, your device's native share sheet is used. We do not receive or store shared content.

ADVERTISING

Rail Slingshot uses Google AdMob to show ads in the native mobile app only (not in a web browser). Ads help support development of the game. The app may show the following ad types:

• Banner ads — Small ads shown at the bottom of the screen during gameplay.

• Rewarded video ads (optional) — You choose whether to watch. Used for optional double coins after a level, free coins or repairs in the shop, and similar in-game bonuses. You are never required to watch a rewarded ad to play.

• Interstitial ads (full-screen) — May appear when you leave a run (for example, returning to the menu). These are frequency-limited and never block saving your coins or progress.

When ads are shown, Google and its partners may collect information such as device identifiers, ad interaction data, IP address, and approximate location to serve, measure, and personalize ads (where permitted by law).

On iOS, you may be asked to allow app tracking for personalized ads through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You can change this later in your device Settings.

In certain regions, including the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google may show a consent form before personalized ads are displayed. You can review or change your ad privacy choices at any time from the app's Settings page using "Manage ad privacy choices".

YOUR CHOICES

• Rewarded ads are always optional — you choose whether to watch them.

• You can manage ad consent and privacy choices in Settings.

• You can delete all locally stored app data at any time (see Data Deletion below).

• You can limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings (iOS/Android).

WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

• Your name, email address, or any contact information (unless you email us for support)

• Payment or financial information — the app has no in-app purchases

• An account or sign-in requirement to play

• Selling or sharing your game progress with third parties

• Storing your game progress on our servers

CHILDREN

Rail Slingshot is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will assist with deletion where applicable.

DATA DELETION

You can permanently delete locally stored app data at any time from the Settings page using the "Delete All Data" button. This removes your progress, settings, tutorial state, and ad frequency counters from your device.

This action cannot be undone. Ad consent choices managed by Google may need to be updated separately through "Manage ad privacy choices" in Settings or through your device settings.

INTERNATIONAL USERS

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may have rights regarding personal data processed by Google as an advertising partner. We do not receive copies of that data. For questions about data we control (local game data on your device), contact us using the email below.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
